So I made this barrel band kind of as an experiment because I didn't know if it would eliminate the need for my Harmonic Barrel Tuner. I do like the performance of the Harmonic Tuner but I didn't like that my barrel was still very floppy. 
I've also seen barrel bands that were tied to the rigidity of the carbon fiber bottle. And that doesn't make the most sense to me because once you fasten down the barrel to the bottle it might be great for a while but once that barrel gets bumped and if it moves... well now it's going to stay stuck in a new position and really affect your shot consistency. And I've seen and heard of this first hand from a customer and his Dreamline Classic with FX's barrel band they sell for that rifle. He uses it for field and target and while it was sitting in his wagon and while he was moving from one shooting station to the next, his barrel somehow got knocked and well it held its new position and ruined the rest of the event for him. 
So I decided to create this 3-point anchored barrel band and it really did impress me considering I'm really stretching the limits of my Impact MKii at 90ftlbs of energy out of a 25caliber. (43.5gr and 38.5gr NSA)
